Hints for writing a book review:
Be sure to start your review with the title and the author’s
name.
Don’t give away the ending!
Write the review as if you were trying to convince a friend
to read the book. If you didn’t like the book, tell us why you didn’t like it.
What is the book about?
Describe the characters, the setting, and/or the style of
writing.
What is your favorite or least favorite part of the book?
Why?
What type of book is it? Mystery? Romance? History? Poetry?
Etc.
If the book is nonfiction, tell about the subject of the book
and what you learned.
Finish your book review with your name (only first names will
be posted) and rate
your book with 1 to 5 stars with 5 stars being a really great book!
