The Pulaski
County Library System provided Outreach Services to the citizens of Pulaski
County through:
·Preschool Outreach to area preschools, daycare centers, and Head start
and Virginia Preschool Initiative classes.The Outreach Librarian provides bi-weekly story time activities and
library books for participants.
Pre-School children visit the library
for Story Time
·Reading is Fundamental (RIF) provides
three free books each school year for every elementary aged student in the
Pulaski County School System as well as Head Start and Virginia Preschool Initiative
students.
Adult
Outreach to area Retirement Homes by delivering library books to resident’s
bi-weekly.
Two lovely ladies from one of the area Nursing Homes in the
Outreach Program enjoying books that have just been delivered.
