National Friends of the Library Web Site
The
Friends of the Pulaski County Library is a non-profit, educational, and charitable
association incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and is a
member of the Trustees and Friends Forum,
which is an affiliate of the Virginia
Library Association.
The
Friends:

Promotes interest in the Pulaski County Public
Library
·
Educates the members and the community about the
services provided by the Library
·
Supports the Library with voluntary efforts and
financially wherein possible.
Membership:
All residents of Pulaski
County and those eligible to hold library cards in the Pulaski County Public
Library are eligible for membership.
Categories of membership &
dues:
Individual
-
$ 7.50
Family - $10.00
Commercial
- $25.00
Senior Citizens - $5.00
Membership dues
are for the calendar year, January to January and upon receipt of payment to
the Treasurer of The Friends, membership will remain in good standing until the
following January.
Food
Lion will donate money to the Friends of the Library just for you
registering your Food Lion MVP card. This does not effect your MVP
card discount it is just another way Food Lion helps out the community.
You do not have to be a member of the Friends of the Library to help out this
way.
Please go to
https://www.foodlion.com/IntheCommunity/ShopandShare/secure/RegisterMVPCards.asp
and choose select organization, then choose VA as the state and Pulaski as the
city. You should then choose Friends of the Pulaski County Library from the list
of organizations and click on ok. Then click on add MVP cards and fill in
your information. The information fields with the red asterisk beside them are
the ones that are necessary to fill out. Click on next, review your
information and if everything is correct choose finish. If you would rather the Friends
of the Library do this for you please email Rachael at the library
rdehaven@pclibs.org with the following
information or bring your MVP card to Dublin or Pulaski Library and we'll help
you register.
